    Founded in 2006, GM Equipment Corporation is a fast growing equipment rental company headquartered in Kersey, PA. GM Equipment serves customers through four physical locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan. We pride ourselves as being experts in the aerial and material handling industry.

    Job Purpose The Accounting and Finance Manager will provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will also oversee the financing and reporting related to our Real Estate and Transport Divisions.

    What you will do:

    Complete balance sheet account reconciliations; explain period fluctuations and research/clear account transactions

    Perform monthly close processes and account reconciliations in support of the monthly close process

    Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensuring financial information has been recorded accurately

    Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed

    Provide assistance to other branches for accounting matters

    Complete ad hoc analyses related to assigned responsibilities and create reports

    Provide financial data related to assigned responsibilities to fulfill both internal and external requests for financial data efficiently

    Identify process improvement opportunities that adds value to company

    Maintain records and files

    Other duties assigned as needed

    Requirements:

    7-10 years of experience

    Bachelor's Degree- Accounting or Finance preferred

    Skills:

    Ability to prioritize responsibilities and complete work timely and accurately

    Ability to identify improvement opportunities within processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

    Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners through effective communication

    Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, etc.)

    Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
