    Job Title: Accounts Payable & Payroll Clerk
    Location: Westminster, CO (Near I-25 & 120th)

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Accounts Payable & Payroll Clerk to join our accounting team. This part-time, in-office position is responsible for processing accounts payable, managing payroll, and assisting with general accounting functions, with the potential to grow into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, Paylocity (or similar payroll platforms), and Excel , along with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process accounts payable, including vendor invoice entry, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
    • Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time using Paylocity or a similar payroll platform.
    • Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee deductions, benefits, and garnishments.
    • Assist with general accounting duties, including journal entries and reconciliations.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Address payroll and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Support month-end and year-end close processes.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • 2-4 years of experience in payroll processing, accounts payable, and general accounting.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong Excel skills in a must (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and writing formulas).
    • Experience with Paylocity or similar payroll processing platforms.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
    • This is an in-office position; remote work is not available.
