About the role:
The AP Specialist is responsible for all Accounts Payable functions for the company. This position reports directly to the AP Manager. This role will be required to be in the office 1-2 days in Arlington, Virginia.
Job Responsibilities:
Record invoices into Bill.com for several entities using Bill.com
Issue payments to vendors
Review and reconcile vendor statements
Respond to vendor inquiries
Process monthly AP accrual
Review and process expense reimbursements
Generate AP reports as requested
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be in office 1-2 days
Associate's Degree in Accounting
2+ years of related AP experience
Experience with Bill.com and IntAcct preferred
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power-Point, Outlook, Teams)
Understanding of US GAAP and general accounting cycle
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
