    Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant

    Compensation: $22 - $23 per hour

    The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.     About the Role:

    In this role, you’ll ensure timely vendor payments by monitoring credits, verifying invoice signatures, scheduling checks, and recording transactions. You’ll manage payment deadlines, resolve vendor issues like payment discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in our accounting system. This position is key to the daily efficiency of our Accounts Payable operations, ensuring smooth financial workflows.

    Responsibilities:

    Paying vendors on time by monitoring credits, verifying signatures on invoices and scheduling and preparing checks.

    Maintaining and posting account transactions.

    Monitoring deadlines of all payments.

    Recording and keeping all invoices in accounting systems.

    Revolving issues with vendors when needed, for example, payment discrepancies, credit errors and creating and canceling accounts.

    Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the Accounts Payable functions and duties

    Job Requirements:

    Associate degree is preferred in accounting related

    1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable is preferred but not required

    Experience with Sage Intacct preferred but not required

    Able to produce and work the following software: Excel, Word

    Highly motivated and able to adapt to change

    Able to write in a legible fashion simple correspondence

    Read, understand, and follow the Employee Handbook and all company policies and procedures

    Proper dress policy at all times
