Job Function:

The Accounts Payable Assistant will manage the AP function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor relations. Additionally, the role involves supporting finance tasks such as Accounts Receivable handling, cash flow monitoring and assisting with general financial operations. Specific responsibilities include:

• Invoice and payment processing.
• Vendor management.
• Reconciling accounts.
• General ledger maintenance including month-end and year-end closing.
• Generating reports for AP balances, payment schedules etc.
• Working closely with other departments as needed.
• Resolving billing inquiries or disputes.

Basic requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or MIS
• Minimally 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Accounting software experience with Quickbooks, SAP, or Oracle. (Oracle proficiency is strongly preferred).
