Accounts Payable Coordinator
Location: Orange, CA
Duration: Could be a week to 1 year or longer.
Schedule: In-office. Hours 8 am – 5 pm.

A well-established company that manufactures parts for the Aerospace industry is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the team on a temporary basis. This Accounts Payable Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the company. This individual must be very organized and able to learn at a very fast pace on how procedures operate within the company.
Responsibilities- Review and verify invoices and check requests for multi-entities
- Process/enter and upload invoices into system; coding & matching
- Assist and prepare electronic transfers and payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Prepare analysis of accounts
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Correspond with vendors, business owners and respond to inquiries
- Assist with Month End Close
- Prepare, manage and upload files that related to W9s and 1099s
- Work close with Production Accountants on processing checks and uploading checks from PSL system to Great Plains
Qualifications- A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable preferred
- Must have experience with inventory and PO’s
- Must have experience with QuickBooks
- Strong IT Skills (MS Outlook/Excel)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines and present solutions effectively and influence decisions at all levels of an organization

- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance
