    Accounts Payable Coordinator

    Location: Orange, CA

    Duration: Could be a week to 1 year or longer.

    Schedule: In-office. Hours 8 am – 5 pm.

    Job details:

    A well-established company that manufactures parts for the Aerospace industry is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the team on a temporary basis. This Accounts Payable Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the company. This individual must be very organized and able to learn at a very fast pace on how procedures operate within the company.


    Responsibilities
    • Review and verify invoices and check requests for multi-entities
    • Process/enter and upload invoices into system; coding & matching
    • Assist and prepare electronic transfers and payments
    • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
    • Prepare analysis of accounts
    • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
    • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
    • Correspond with vendors, business owners and respond to inquiries
    • Assist with Month End Close
    • Prepare, manage and upload files that related to W9s and 1099s
    • Work close with Production Accountants on processing checks and uploading checks from PSL system to Great Plains

    Qualifications
    • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred
    • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable preferred
    • Must have experience with inventory and PO’s
    • Must have experience with QuickBooks
    • Strong IT Skills (MS Outlook/Excel)
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to meet assigned deadlines and present solutions effectively and influence decisions at all levels of an organization

    • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
    • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
