The SIXT - Finance Department is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Accounts Payable Supervisor in daily operations. This role ensures accurate invoice processing, maintains financial records, and upholds compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with internal teams and vendors. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• Strong Work Ethic & Multitasking: You will be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: You will research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

• Financial Processing & Accuracy: You will process and review 2,000–3,000 invoices weekly, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

• Interpersonal & Communication Skills: You will collaborate effectively with vendors, team members, and the German Accounting Department

• Organizational & Clerical Support: You will maintain accounting records through scanning and filing while assisting the Accounting Manager with financial tasks

• Confidentiality & Compliance: You will ensure data security and uphold financial integrity while coordinating accounting procedures internationally

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Educational Background: We require an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education

• Technical Proficiency: You will need a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, with the ability to create and edit documents, use formulas, and manage spreadsheets efficiently

• Full-Time Commitment: You will need to be able to work 40 hours per week, ensuring consistent support for accounting operations and financial processes

• Work Authorization: You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company-sponsored work authorization now or in the future

• Attention to Detail: You will need the ability to manage financial data accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations

• Strong Organizational Skills: You will be capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
