Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Receivable professional to join our finance team in Houston, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

• Process and post customer payments accurately and efficiently
• Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and investigate discrepancies
• Follow up on overdue accounts and initiate collection procedures when necessary
• Communicate with customers regarding account status, payments, and discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports
• Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and disputes
• Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation
• Implement and improve accounts receivable processes to enhance efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required

Additional Information

Pay Range: $ 17.00

Hours/Shift:

1st shift: 8:00AM - 5:00PM

2nd shift: 8:30AM - 5:30PM
