Our client, a leading healthcare company, is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join their revenue cycle team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing, follow-up on unpaid claims, and maintaining relationships with insurance providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely and accurate posting of payments.
• Follow up with third-party payers to resolve outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with the revenue cycle team to optimize billing processes and improve cash flow.
• Analyze accounts and report on aging balances, identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and GAAP standards.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial processes.
• Experience with medical coding and billing processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in Nextech, NexGen, or Rednet is a plus.
