    Fast-growing food services company seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in their Miami FL main office.

    The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be primarily responsible for the execution of day-to-day accounts receivable tasks such as billing, collections, invoices’ uploads to clients’ portals. This position will also provide support in the form of account reconciliations and reporting. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor with a dotted line to the Accounting Manager, this position affords the opportunity to join America’s fastest growing job sector while gaining valuable experience in both food distribution and manufacturing. The position offers exposure to all facets of the company as the employee will be working in coordination with all departments.  The Salary range is $45,000 to $58,000 (DOE).

     

    Responsibilities

    • Executes a minimum of 35-40 accounts receivable items daily, including a high volume of data entry.
    • Ensures timely and accurate billing to clients.
    • Perform daily collections calls in both languages Spanish and English.
    • Prepares weekly collections updates to the Accounting Manager and finance team.
    • Ensures completeness and accuracy of general ledger entries.
    • Uploads invoices to clients’ portals and reconcile these uploads in a weekly basis.
    • Assists AR supervisor on month end duties such as recording marketing agreement discounts.
    • Supports the Company’s year-end audit process by preparing supporting documentation and schedules as requested.
    • Runs monthly usage reports and provides information to relevant departments and vendors.
    • Performs additional accounting, financial and other duties as assigned.

     

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel.
    • SAP B1 knowledge is a bonus (not required).
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Trustworthiness and ability to keep strict confidentiality.
    • Team player with excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to pass all background checks.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) in Spanish and English.
