Mixer Operator ACE Extrusion, LLC. - Evansville, IN $12 - $13 an hour JOB DESCRIPTION: Mixer Operator SUMMARY: The Mixer Operator is responsible for making batches of material in accordance with customers and/or ACEs specifications. He or she also weighs up material cuts up and picks up batches, cleans the mixing area, and trouble shoots any mixing problems. In addition, he or she is responsible for any other task the Plant Manager or Mixing Group Leader deems necessary. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: High School at minimum; 1-2 years experience; or 1-2 years training required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: * Reviews Mixing Schedule and brings any concerns to Mixing Supervisor * Produces quality batches in mixer, as scheduled * Communicates with the previous mixer operator to discuss any irregularities or special instructions that need to be followed * Produce standard production batches by following the Mixing Procedure * Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. * Reports to the Group Leader or Quality Assurance any nonconformities in batches or procedures as they occur * Maintain correct identification on batches * Cut up batch, run material through zinc bath * Complete necessary paperwork correctly and on a timely basis, including the following: **Batch Tickets **Log Sheets **Drum Fill Procedure **Batch Labels * Reports to Mixing Supervisor.
