The Role
We are looking for an acquisition marketing manager to help us scale existing and new growth channels for Cometeer. An ideal candidate will be a performance driven self-starter with an ownership mentality and understanding of the paid media landscape. They are consistently seeking opportunities to test & learn, and they are a team player who thrives in a high-impact, fast-paced, cross-functional work environment.
This is a full time, on-site, role at our NYC office in the Flatiron District.
What You'll Do
Channel Testing
- Lead end-to-end channel testing to improve and expand current media mix.
- Research channels and their respective best practices.
- Develop and execute strategy to scale channels.
- Optimize channel performance based on short and long term learnings.
- Document learnings and insights on new channel performance (the good and the bad) to inform future strategy.
Creative
- Liaise with relevant marketing team members to develop creative for new channels (copy writers, video editors, graphic designers, etc).
- Leverage learnings from existing channels to inform channel creative strategy.
- Apply iterative creative testing framework to channels, structuring all launches to garner learnings.
Data / Reporting
- Ensure the right reporting processes are in place to monitor channel performance. Develop new processes where there are gaps.
- Monitor results daily to understand performance, and execute optimizations where applicable.
- Leverage data to inform creative analysis and future plans for the channel.
- Establish regular reporting cadence to communicate results to the broader team.
Learning and Growth:
- Take advantage of opportunities to learn from experienced marketing professionals.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects.
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field
- Experience in a high performance growth marketing environment
- Understanding of the paid media landscape
- Ability to develop clear, simple processes to improve efficiency and organization
- Solution-oriented approach to problem solving that is grounded in data-based decision-making
- Understands how to prioritize and tackle problems that vary in size and complexity
- Ability to work well independently and in close collaboration with teammates
