    Pacifica senior living is looking for an Activities assistant to help carry out activities for our residents!

    Essential Functions:

    • Support the mission, vision, and culture of the organization.
    • Perform activities on schedule while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
    • Promote resident’s attendance at events and activities.
    • Assist with planning and implementing events and activities.
    • Assist with group activities, sing-a-longs, and exercise classes.
    • Conduct activity programs as assigned.
    • Assist residents with gardening projects.
    • Assist with decorations for holidays and special occasions.

    Skills:

    • Experience in activities with seniors who have dementia or in a senior retirement community.
    • Great organization, planning, and engaging/re-directing seniors.
    • Great energy and kindness.
    • Operate a VCR, DVD, and stereo system.
    • High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
    • Must possess valid First Aid Certification.
