Job Summary
The Actuarial Analyst plays a pivotal role in our organization, providing support to our actuarial functions and contributing to the overall success of our insurance operations. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will work closely with our experienced actuarial team to analyze complex data and perform actuarial calculations Your key responsibilities will include conducting studies to analyze profitability, competitiveness and adequacy of reserves. Additionally, you will play a vital role in contributing to the development of new products and in the determinations of rate for new products and our existing business. As an integral part of our actuarial team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop your actuarial expertise, and make a meaningful impact on our organization's financial stability and success.
Responsibilities
Accountable for contributing to the development of new products and in the determination of rate for new products and existing business.
Assists in monitoring the loss experience and conducting studies to analyze profitability, competitiveness, and adequacy of loss reserves.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics required. A degree in Physics, Statistics, or Economics may suffice provided there is a strong concentration of mathematics and completion of one or more of the actuarial exams.
Must provide support to and work collaboratively with the production rating team and other Actuaries.
Coordinate with Analytics, Underwriting, Marketing, and other areas to support good analysis, decisions, and product design.
