Lokahi Acupuncture is seeking an experienced, passionate Acupuncturist with a pain focus to join our team in San Jose, CA, US. This position offers wonderful perks such as a competitive wage of approximately $40 - $70 hourly (depending on how full your schedule is). Obviously, it starts on the lower end and increases as your schedule becomes established), PTO, 401(k), and the possibility for career advancement. As a Pain Specialist, you will use East Asian Medicine to treat pain and a variety of illnesses to help patients find relief from their physical and emotional ailments. Note: This is not a salaried position. Compensation depends on whether the provider is Part-time or Full-time. Please note: we are hiring for this position to start May 2025. Responsibilities: • Perform acupuncture treatments on patients with various pain conditions to promote healing and wellness. • Develop treatment plans based on patient consultations and health assessments. • Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and holistic health practices. • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for continuity of care and treatment tracking. • Work with teammates in a collaborative environment. Qualifications: • Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of California • Minimum of 2 years experience practicing acupuncture • Proficient in traditional Chinese medicine techniques including acupuncture, herbal medicine, gua sha, and cupping • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Excellent team player • Adaptability • Competencies: US Work Authorization Compensation: $40 - $70 hourly
