    A respected therapy management organization is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join their acute care team in Lawrenceville, GA. This is an ideal position for both experienced therapists and new graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic hospital setting. The ideal candidate has an interest or background in neuro or orthopedic trauma care and enjoys working in complex critical care units, including ICU and progressive care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform evaluations and treatments aligned with PT scope of practice
    • Manage care for patients with complex diagnoses, including those in critical care settings
    • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy plans, mobility, and equipment use
    • Recommend adaptive equipment for mobility and daily function
    • Lead therapy sessions and participate in care planning meetings
    • Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with legal and reimbursement standards
    • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and delegate responsibilities as appropriate
    • Participate in community outreach, performance improvement, and departmental development
    • Maintain CPR certification and remain current with professional requirements

    Requirements:

    • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
    • Licensed or eligible for PT licensure in Georgia
    • Effective communicator and team collaborator
    • Strong clinical reasoning and interest in acute care therapy
    • Open to recent graduates with mentorship support provided
    • Ability to manage fast-paced environments with multiple demands

    Skill Set Required:

    • Acute care clinical experience or strong interest in critical care rehabilitation
    • Ability to assess and treat complex trauma and neurological patients
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
