    POSITION SUMMARY:

    AdBoom Advertising is currently interviewing for an ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE to play a critical role in selling both Digital (newsletters, video, paid social media, website advertising, etc.) and Print (magazines, supplements) media solutions for both our new and existing clients.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
    • Execute and deliver high quality responses to all sales inquiries and RFPs
    • Proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain account list
    • Manage activity using Salesforce.com
    • Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business:
      • Make introductory calls
      • Assess business goals
      • Work with new and existing prospects and clients
      • Design online, print and/or conference advertising packages
    • Engage in high-volume cold calling daily
    • Follow up with potential clients to close sales
    • Utilize online and offline sources to cultivate new leads and develop/maintain your pipeline to effectively grow your book of business
    • Lead the strategy in response to RFPs and present proposals and presentations
    • Monitor customer accounts
    • Report, forecast and meet/exceed revenue goals
    • Educate potential clients on the value of advertising
    • Ability to work within a team environment to generate results
    • MUST possess the ability to close!

     

    REQUIREMENTS AND GENERAL SKILLS:

    o 3-5 years of experience selling print, digital and conference exhibition, and sponsorship advertising programs

    o Tenacious hunter focused on acquiring and closing accounts

    o Strong presentation, closing, and prospecting skills

    o Proven track record of generating significant growth in advertising sales revenues by bringing in new business

    o Results-oriented and accountable, with a strong work ethic

    o Good organizational skills

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    o Full use of Salesforce

    • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    COMPENSATION

    o We reward our sales associates with an outstanding compensation package that includes an attractive base salary plus uncapped incentive plan. We also offer very competitive benefits that include medical and 401K.

    o Compensation including salary plus commission - $75,000+

    o In-office/remote-office available.
