ROLE DESCRIPTION -

AdVon Commerce is seeking an SEO Editor to contribute to content curation efforts. These articles aim to connect with consumers through compelling content while driving them to make smart purchasing decisions and working around the rules of Google SEO and e-commerce writing. We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail and feels (comfortable editing content.

This is a fully REMOTE role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work with the content management team to edit 600-2,000 word articles.

• Fact-check articles to ensure they are not leading the readers astray.

• Make small grammar edits

• Lengthen content as necessary.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• The ability to edit copy to help it effectively communicate information about products.

• Strong command of standard English grammar/spelling.

• Strong command of SEO best practices.

• Good fact-checking skills.

• The ability to work quickly without compromising quality.

• The ability to adapt to various style guides.

• Experience working in Content Management Systems (CMS) is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
