Job Summary We are seeking an Addiction Counselor to join our team! Located in South Tampa, we are a unique boutique style Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment agency. We specialize in treating professionals. We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and ability to provide strong evidenced based treatment under ethical standards and guidelines. Monday though Friday, no weekends. Day time hours.

Responsibilities

Maintain timely and detailed documentation according to DCF, JCO and insurance billing standards

Perform intake assessments

Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments

Provide counseling for individuals

Create individualized treatment plans for each client

Perform regular wellness checks

Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

Qualifications

At minimum Bachelors degree

MA degree in related field/ LMHC/or RMHCI

Experience with Addiction or CAC/CAP

Previous experience with Substance Abuse Population

Experience with insurance billing documentation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

DBT, CBT and Evidenced based group facilitation experience
