Seeking a Recovery Peer Support Specialist or a Certified Behavioral Tech for Full Time position at a private addiction treatment center in South Tampa. We are willing to assist with Certification process for the right candidate. Must have strong communication and documentation skills, ability to interact well with individuals, uphold ethics and boundary guidelines, be well organized and maintain confidentiality at all times, attention to detail is a must. Engaging personality with strong leadership qualities. Working knowledge of 12 step program strongly desired.

Duties Include: client orientation, client monitoring, administering drug screens, procuring supplies from store, taking clients to appointments off-site as needed, engaging clients and taking clients to sober activities, spending time with clients 1:1 who may need extra support/coaching. We are a FARR, Joint Commission and DCF certified, which requires a high standard of practice in regard to reporting, documentation and ethics as well as a high quality of client care.

The position available requires weekend availability

Qualifications: Experience with Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment population Understanding of FARR requirement, DCF and Joint Commission requirements is highly preferred Proactive, self starter with ability to manage multiple tasks unsupervised and prioritize responsibilities Associates Degree in Human Services or related field preferred Good driving record for past 5 years is required
