Job Description
Colby Community College is accepting applications for an adjunct instructor to teach Art courses. Areas of instruction may include Drawing, Design, Art Appreciation, Art History, Two-Dimensional (2-D) Design, or other foundational studio and lecture-based courses. Delivery methods may include in-person instruction at the Colby campus or online asynchronous courses. The college seeks a flexible, student-focused educator committed to high-quality instruction and serving a diverse, rural student population.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Art or a closely related field, OR
Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Art or a related discipline
Prior teaching experience and familiarity with online or Zoom-based instruction preferred, but not required
Course Delivery Options:
Online asynchronous
In-person at the Colby campus (flexible scheduling possible)
Compensation: $650 per credit hour
