    THE TEAM

    Make-A-Wish America is the national headquarters for our organization, providing resources and support for our Chapters around the country. The Revenue Partnerships and Services Team is committed to providing a best-in-class donor experience by elevating our fundraising programs across the country. This team of fundraising professionals are driving a culture of philanthropy to provide resources to grant a wish for every eligible child.

    THE ROLE

    The Lead Manager, Peer to Peer Fundraising develops resources utilized by Chapters to drive fundraising for these programs on the TeamRaiser platform, consults and strategies with internal and external partners on P2P program standards and positively impacts revenue as related to peer-to-peer fundraising at Make-A-Wish. This role offers the opportunity to play a crucial part in managing national P2P Programs, developing relationships and continuing to the enterprise’s overall success. ****


    Where You Come In

    As the Lead Manager, Peer to Peer Fundraising you will:

    • Manages all aspects of multiple P2P Programs, including growth strategy, creative development of resources for fundraisers and chapter staff, technology strategy, activation plans for existing and new programs, new donor acquisition.
    • Oversee successful local chapter implementation of national programs through effective communication between chapters, partners, and National Make-A-Wish teams. Develop marketing templates/chapter support materials, gather chapter assets (stories, photos, media clips, etc.) and reports that can be shared with partners, and act as point of contact for any issues that arise with the partner.
    • Create cultivation and stewardship plans for existing donors, both for Make-A-Wish Chapters as well as Make-A-Wish America.
    • Develops and enhances partnerships through strategic planning, relationship building, strong interpersonal communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills. Conducts regular and sufficient communications with all stakeholders.
    • Collaborates across national departments/teams, chapters and agencies to develop program strategy for assigned programs.
    • Main point of contact to assigned chapters, continually exploring innovative ways to enhance chapter partnerships, to drive increased revenue and awareness for the organization.
    • Contributes to digital product roadmap that aligns business needs, strategies, and desired outcomes.
    • Partner with stakeholders to plan and design change management, training, and implementation strategies with chapters.
    • Assists Director with annual budget and performance reporting.
    • Participate in team meetings, providing insights and recommendations to enhance P2P Revenue strategies.
    • Performs other job-related duties, as assigned.

    What You’ll Need

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field, preferred but not required.
    • Minimum of at least 5 years of experience in peer-to-peer fundraising required.
    • Preferred experience in account management across multiple regions, chapters, or nationwide
    • Prior experience working with Luminate Online/ TeamRaiser required.
    • Prior experience working in a non-profit organization required.
    • Prior experience working with Salesforce or similar platforms
    • Excellent analytical skills to capitalize on data trends.
    • High standards of ethics in conducting job-related activities.
    • Team player with eagerness to learn, grow and take on new challenges.
    • Able to handle multiple projects under pressure.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, public speaking, sales, and presentation skills
    • Ability to deal with confidential donor/client/employee relationships
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Position may require travel to organizational conferences and events.

  • Qualifications

    Required

    • 2-5 years’ proven business to business sales experience
    • A competitive drive that is motivated by meeting sales quotas
    • Thorough understanding of the needs/analysis approach to sales
    • High level of closing skills and demonstrated organizational and territory planning/management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and gain referrals
    • Four year college degree in related discipline
    • Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position
    • Ability to work as a team player while working autonomously within a defined region
    • Strong interpersonal, oral, communication, organizational and planning skills

    Preferred

    • 3 or more years experience selling medical capital and diagnostic equipment and disposables
    • Demonstrated aptitude for the cardiac clinical environment with an ability to sell and conduct clinical evaluations
    • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of cardiovascular system
    • High level of instructional skills, specifically instructing physicians and other clinicians in the clinical setting
    • Understands contract administration

    • Ability to travel a minimum of 70-80% of the time or as required by role
    • Able to lift and manipulate equipment weighing 50#
    • Must be able to meet and maintain customer/medical facility access requirements, including regular or periodic drug screenings with a satisfactory result in accordance with the requirements of the customer/medical facility serviced
