    Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Asset Management Firm-HYBRID)

    Our client, an investment firm, is seeking an Administrative Assistant (who sits at reception) to support their New York City office. This person must be a team player with an energetic, positive disposition.

    Responsibilities

    • Support firm executives with scheduling, expenses and travel
    • Assist the Office Manager with various tasks including supply ordering, technology, etc.
    • Have an all hands on deck, go-getter attitude
    • Communicate with the firm's investors and strategic partners
    • Filing
    • Special projects and requests, as needed
    • Act as Receptionist as needed: answer and direct incoming phone calls, meet and greet visitors, coordinate and distribute mail and deliveries, stocking and upkeep of the kitchens and common areas, and manage office supply inventory
    • Assist with corporate event planning and gift research in conjunction with the other members of the administrative team
    • Assist the Office Manager with Admin team projects and miscellaneous administrative requests from various departments

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (top tier school) 
    • 2+ year(s) of corporate experience, preferably within financial services
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Outlook

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • $85,000 - 100,000 base salary
    • Discretionary bonus (typically within the 15-25% range)
