Responsibilities will include:
Process Customer POs in coordination with the sales, production and logistic areas and Customer EDI portals to ensure the PO delivery and payment.
Collect payments and deposit payments, track and notify customers with delinquent accounts and notify customers of insufficient payments.
Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
Give follow up to pay vendor invoices in coordination with corporate, verifying transaction information, scheduling, and obtaining authorization of payment.
Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issued stop payments and adjustments.
Ensure daily, weekly and monthly financial responsibilities are completed with detail, accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Continuously improve systems and processes
Interact with in-house and 3rd parties to ensure charges are sent and processed
Work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies.
Answer telephone calls and emails from customers, suppliers and directing them to relevant staff
Monitor office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required
Organize maintenance and house cleaning to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order
Report office progress to the CFO and work with the CFO to improve office operations and procedures.
Carry out additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Degree in accounting or a related field
3+ years of experience in AP/AR accounting
Competency with Microsoft Office MS (Excel in particular)
Competency in SAP desirable
BILINGUAL SPANISH-ENGLISH A MUST
Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Authorization to work in the US is required
The schedule for this full-time position is Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm with a 1hr lunch.
