    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to operations and administrative officers.

    Reports to: Director of Operations

    Responsibilities and Duties

    1. Answering incoming phone calls during work hours

    2. Logging and making bank deposits

    3. Ensuring medical services billing received at GBAC is turned over to Multi-Med

    4. Acknowledging donations received

    5. Picking up mail at post office

    6. Distributing mail to appropriate area

    7. Entering CPR course paperwork into the computer system

    8. Issuing CPR cards with the approval of the CPR TC Coordinator and Faculty

    9. Assisting President with coordinating different vendors related to household repairs

    10. Create and maintain written business related processes and procedures

    11. Assist with setting up and coordinating meetings

    12. Assisting Board of Directors with meeting minutes as applicable for monthly Board and membership meetings

    13. Filing of Human Resources and financial records

    14. Handles sensitive information, such as Human Resource and Payroll records and keeps the information confidential.

    15. Assisting organization officers in various tasks

    Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; QuickBooks; internet software and Human Resource systems. Certificates and Licenses: Valid NYS driver license

    1. Drive all agency vehicles even under emergency conditions after appropriate training.
    2. Lift the required weight as stipulated in the NYS EMT standards.
    3. Act as a helper during emergency calls on the ambulance.
