    Job Description

    _ AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:_

    The Administrative Assistant will assure that coordination of benefits and financial resources (social security, Medicaid, Medicare, service authorizations, insurances, and other applicable benefits and resources) of each person in services remain current and are tracked to assure accountability of delivered services as identified in the person’s Individual Plan.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Maintain strict compliance with social security, Medicaid, and Medicare benefit regulations for individuals under our care.
    • Rigorously monitor Medicaid/Medicare re-determination due dates for new enrollees and existing service recipients to ensure uninterrupted coverage.
    • Coordinate with supervisors and personally execute the Medicaid/Medicare re-determination documentation and Social Security reviews for individuals in our services, adhering to all legal requirements.
    • Immediately escalate any potential issues regarding benefit eligibility maintenance to the appropriate supervisor to mitigate risks.
    • Ensure precise data entry into designated databases, including Room and Board, Pay Stubs, Personal Needs, and Consumer information, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy.
    • Meticulously complete all representative payee forms, adhering to strict guidelines and regulations.
    • Implement and maintain a rigorous filing system, ensuring all documentation is filed promptly and in accordance with established protocols.
    • Execute a systematic archiving process for documents two years or older, in compliance with retention policies.
    • Conduct thorough tracking of pay stubs for Social Security purposes, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
    • Submit Representative Payee information through the official Social Security Portal with utmost precision and timeliness, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

    • Accounting for the resources of persons served.
    • Working within Therap
    • High-school Diploma or GED
