    Join LYD Construction as our Administrative Assistant. In this vital role, you will contribute significantly to the communication with future clients, maintenance of client files, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.     Lyd Construction is seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to support daily operations in our fast-paced construction environment. This position is part time but with opportunity to move to full time. The ideal candidate will handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, document management, customer service, and office coordination, while ensuring smooth communication across the team. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.     Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Providing excellent Customer Service via phone and email

    • General office administration and assistant duties – data entry, filing, organizing, etc

    • Manage the sub-contractor's compliance and certificate of insurance process if needed.

    • Maintain information in the Customer Relationship Management database.

    • Help other team members with daily tasks.

    Experience, Skills, & Traits of an Ideal Candidate:

    • Previous experience working at the office is preferred, but not required.

    • Experience in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite

    • Strong typing and language skills.

    • Customer service and detail-orientated

    • Reliable and accountable

    • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment: prioritize and multitask.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Part-time position: 20–24 hours per week, Monday–Friday

    • Competitive salary range of $20-$25 per hour depending on experience
