    Jules Gourmet Catering is looking for enthusiastic, reliable & detail-oriented individuals to join our team!

    Part Time Position: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-3:00pm, Occasional Friday’s

    Job Summary

    The Catering Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing office support in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. The Catering Admin Assistant will be expected to assist the sales managers in obtaining customer satisfaction and sales goals by performing clerical and administrative duties relating to sales, marketing, guest and catering communications.

    Principal Duties / Tasks and Responsibilities

    Greet and assist guests and respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

    Perform e-mailing, data-entry, filing, faxing, copying, posting daily event orders, processing letters, proposals and contracts in an accurate and timely manner, and effectively communicating with clients.

    Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding catering information and guest concerns.

    Generates event menus for display at events.

    Assists with maintaining staff scheduling calendar.

    Track Guest Comment Cards and feedback

    Perform other general office duties and assist with special projects, as needed

    Social media posting and Newsletter marketing.( facebook, instagram)

    Create Captain’s Logs for upcoming staffed events.

    Assist with Input of Daily Corporate Catering Orders

    Thank You Letters

    Letters to potential clients

    Food & Menu Labeling

    Client Information Sheets

    Occasional Cold Calls

    Essential Skills and Experience

    Exceptional customer care and attention to detail

    Good verbal and written communication skills

    Quick learner

    Work efficiently and effectively

    Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Xcel), Constant Contact,Canva

    Ability to communicate effectively with event supervisor, guests and staff members by speaking and comprehending English

    Proficient with Caterease, Wix, software a plus!
