    Position: Administrative Assistant – JP211179

    Full-time: 40 Hours

    Location: Chicago, IL 60606

    Assignment: 12/30/2024 – 10/15/2025

    Schedule: Monday – Friday

    Pay Range: $22.00 – $24.93 hourly, paid weekly.
    (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)

     

    Full-Time Commitment: Candidates must be available to work a full 40-hour work week.

    In-Office Requirement: This is an in-office position, and candidates are expected to be onsite 5 days a week for the duration of the contract.

    Occasional Overtime: While overtime is not guaranteed, there may be occasional 1–2-hour overtime on weekdays or potentially a Saturday to meet project deadlines.

     

    Position Summary:

    • We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Bank Personal Tax Solutions.
    • The responsibilities include working with full-time administrative staff in assembling and handling income tax returns, processing various tax documents, creating cover letters and packages for overnight delivery to clients as well as tax authorities.
    • Must be able to work a full 40-hour work week.
    • Occasional overtime may be required.

     

    Required Skills:

    • Experience using scanning software.
    • Experience with Adobe pdf.
    • Experience organizing and categorizing data for scanning.
    • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel - validate via testing.
    • Experience in filing, sorting, and organizing large files as well as paper files.
    • Ability to multi-task as well as be detailed oriented.
    • Must be very professional with a go-getter personality.
    • Proficient with Excel, Outlook and Adobe.

     

    Working Conditions:

    • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
    • The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
    • Use of computers and technology.
