    We seek an experienced administrative assistant to provide administrative, technical, and programmatic support at the DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center (CBC) to support the Research and Operations Directorate's missions, functions, and operations.

    All work is performed on-site, in Edgewood, Maryland, 5 days per week

    Duties:

    • Assist the Branch Chief, Principal Investigators and other team members with budget and programmatic inquiries.
    • Proactively manage developing solutions by providing support to senior administration and management personnel.
    • Provide financial data and record-keeping
    • Manage and oversee MIPRs (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests) and ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System)
    • Establish a record of scheduling and prepare meeting arrangements
    • Maintain meeting minute captures/follow-up

    Required Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    Required Experience:

    • 2 years experience of relevant work experience, particularly in the area of DoD engineering or programmatic support
    • Experience with GFEBS (General Fund Enterprise Business System)
    • Experience with providing financial data and record-keeping
    • Experience in managing and overseeing MIPRs (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests) and ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System)
    • Established record of scheduling and preparing meeting arrangements
    • Record keeping and meeting minute captures/follow-up
    • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

    Preferred Experience:

    • Advanced experience with Army-specific policies and requirements
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and record-keeping
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Advanced experience with GFEBS (General Fund Enterprise Business System)
    • Advanced experience with MIPRs (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests) and ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System)

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

    Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $50,824.32 to $76,236.48 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
