  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This position requires an individual who has strong organizational skills, is willing to assist colleagues, and can multitask in a professional environment. Additional responsibilities include:

    • Act as a gatekeeper; answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls; take and relay messages
    • Greet office visitors, monitor access, provide direction, maintain security awareness
    • Handle queries from the public and customers
    • Provide general administrative and clerical support; prepare correspondence and documents
    • Prepare and organize conference rooms before/after meetings; coordinate meals/catering when needed
    • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in/out of the organization
    • Receive/sort mail and deliveries; prepare outgoing mail for counter pick-up or courier
    • Manage inventory and procure office supplies for the conference room and kitchen
    • Ensure tidy common spaces, including reception area, break rooms, and kitchen
    • Scan and shred documents
    • Prepare/maintain coffee
    • Assist in general office coordination and event planning/implementation
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate must have the following:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Experience with Office365
    • 2+ years of relevant work experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly and professionally
    • Demonstrated knowledge of customer service principles and practices
    • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

    Additional Information

    Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.

    This is a part time position that is benefits eligible.
