The Roth Companies, Inc. is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of our Overland Park office. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated professional who thrives wearing multiple hats, is customer service-oriented and is experienced in handling sensitive matters in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
Working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner
Answer phones and direct calls; address questions using in-depth knowledge of company services
Communicate with colleagues, customers and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
Organize and ensure completion of client-related documentation
Enter new clients and qualified prospects into CRM database
Order and maintain inventory of office supplies and stationery items
Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment (computers, copiers, fax, etc.)
Coordinate and assist with prospect and client seminars and other firmwide special event planning
Qualifications / Characteristics:
Education: Associate degree; Bachelor’s degree a plus
Experience: 3-5 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of work experience and education
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Knowledge of standard office equipment operation
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Team player willing to contribute in a variety of ways to support the broader team
