COMPANY OVERVIEW
Pleasant Valley Building & Restoration (PVB) specializes in repairing properties that have experienced damage from an unexpected event such as water damage, mold damage, fire and smoke damage. We primarily work in the insurance repair industry.
PVB is the sister company of 1-800 Water Damage of Southeast Michigan (1800WD). 1800WD receives calls about losses that people experience to their property and goes in to clean up the mess. This involves removing damaged materials, disinfecting and/or cleaning, and drying out structures. Essentially preparing the property for the next phase which is rebuild. PVB takes it from there and restores the property to its pre-loss condition.
We are a growing family-run business with an excellent reputation and are looking for great candidates who fit our culture.
Most of our work comes as a result of customers experiencing a “loss” at their home, fire, smoke damage, water damage, or mold damage, because typically, our jobs are not planned remodeling events. Customers can be overwhelmed and of course want to get back to the way their home was before as soon as possible. We need people who are empathetic to these situations and enjoy helping people.
The Administrative Coordinator is a multi-talented person with a willingness to communicate on multiple levels. In addition, needs the ability to assist in following our processes and helping keep our customers updated throughout the process. The more our customers are informed, the less issues we have.
