SSC, Inc. dba Sunnyvale Seafood Co. currently searching for two part-time Administrative/Customer Services Interns. This is entry level administrative/customer service position.
This subsidiary company is part of a vertically integrated business group focusing on fish farming, processing, and distribution. The company specialized in supermarket chains, grocery outlets, and food service chains as its major accounts.
Objective:
The Administrative/Customer Services Interns will be helping to maintain customers/vendors relationship and inventory related transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensures all products in the warehouse and cold storages are appropriately received and stored.
· Works with Sales and Procurement team to bring them up to date regarding stock inflow and outflow.
· Compiles inventory information and presents it to staff for effective decision making, which may include the need for restock, and so on
· Maintains and updates incoming product tables.
· Tracks distribution of inventory.
· Assists buyers/sales and logistics team in administrative processes upon request.
· Checks and maintains inventory
· Inventory reconciliation by matching lot by lot, case by case, and pound by pound on monthly basis.
· Splits lots in the inventory system (Appgen) for Walmart inventory
· Investigates and fixes inventory problems and adjustments.
· Assists Sales with contacting the warehouse to locate products at outside cold storages. For example- anniversary dates, pallet configuration, etc.
· Accepts transfer at outside cold storages and communicates incoming products to the warehouse
· Assists salesperson with the spreadsheet to calculate fish inventory such as what is in inventory, committed, on water, and not yet shipped.
· Updates directory and warehouse list
· Opens new accounts at cold storage
· Entries inventory into the inventory system (Appgen)
· Other duties may be assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL
· Entry level experience in administrative support or client service-oriented field
· Education: High school diploma or college students
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities and workflow with enthusiasm
· Acute attention to detail and multi-task
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
· Professional appearance and demeanor
· Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as needed
