The Council for Educational Travel (CETUSA) is a nonprofit international exchange organization that coordinates meaningful, life-changing cultural exchange experiences for high school students, university students, and young professionals. We work with volunteer host families, high schools, universities, and host employers across the U.S., and partner with numerous international sending organizations worldwide.
CETUSA is a U.S. Department of State Exchange Visitor (J-1 visa) sponsor organization.
Job Overview:
The Admissions Administrator plays a crucial role in managing the application process for new applications submitted by Sending Organizations. This position is responsible for managing the application review process and responding to application inquiries from all stakeholders. In addition, this role will provide excellent client support for any pre-program related questions. The ideal candidate will excel at multitasking, problem solving, and fostering meaningful relations with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Serves clients by answering questions, forwarding messages, confirming arrival/departure flight details in database, and with agent
Answering phones as needed
Review completeness of High School Program applications and follow up with SO on missing or conflicting information on application.
Track applications and flights throughout
Coordinate with field as needed

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform tasks that may include extended periods of sitting at a desk using a computer and engaging in office-related activities. The ideal candidate should be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; use a computer an keyboard for extended hours; communicate clearly in person, by phone, and via email.
