These intakes should be conducted in a supportive and empathetic manner, ensuring that clients feel heard and understood.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the treatment team to support individualized treatment plans for clients, based on the information obtained during the intake process. This involves considering the unique needs and goals of each client, as well as their preferences for treatment modalities, and State and County requirements.

Coordination: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as referring agencies, insurance providers, and other treatment centers, to ensure a smooth and coordinated transition into the program.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans. This includes adhering to legal and ethical guidelines for confidentiality and record-keeping.

Adherence to Regulations: Stay up-to-date with regulatory guidelines, licensing requirements, and best practices related to substance use disorder treatment. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
