    We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage essential bookkeeping tasks and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft software, demonstrate strong accounting skills, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The position requires a strong grasp of accounting principles and the ability to work independently.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Data Entry & Record-Keeping: Accurately enter financial data and maintain up-to-date records in QuickBooks Online.

    Process payroll & preform bank deposits: Company currently uses ADP

    Financial Reporting: Coordinate the monthly close process and generate financial reports.

    Account Reconciliation: Reconcile checking, savings, and credit card accounts; ensure accuracy of all transactions.

    Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoice verification, payment processing, and outstanding receivables.

    Journal Entries: Enter standard monthly journal entries to reflect accurate financial transactions.

    Tax Management: Oversee various taxes, including Ohio withholding, unemployment, local city tax, CAT tax, and sales tax.

    Intercompany Billing: Handle invoicing and payments between companies.

    Document Management: Maintain both digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.

    Compliance: Stay informed of regulatory requirements and ensure all transactions comply with financial regulations.

    Employee Records: Track and file employee records.

    Key Qualifications

    Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office applications.

    Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

    Experience in managing financial records, performing reconciliations, and processing payments.

    Hours 3 days a week, 4-5 hours per day. Note: During trial period employee will be required to work at the office. Remote work will be considered on as needed basis. Job duties require employee to be in office.
