CALLING ALL CANVASSERS – $22.50-$25 PER HOUR + OVERTIME

Do you have a background in politics and a passion for working in the field?

Do you enjoy talking to and listening to people? Want to travel the country on our dime?

We’re looking for canvassers, team leaders and project managers for local and nationwide positions.

READ THIS FIRST:

MUST BE A RESIDENT OF PENNSYLVANIA AND A REGISTERED REPUBLICAN VOTER.

Must pass a criminal background check.

Must have a working cell phone.

Must be comfortable canvassing in all kinds of weather.

Must be comfortable living and working on the road if you join a travel team.

Travel and Lodging is Paid for travel team. YOU MUST BE COMFORTABLE SHARING A ROOM WITH A ROOMMATE.

Team Leaders must have a valid Driver’s License, insurance and a clean driving record.

AMT started small in 2008, and now we’re one of the largest voter contact and ballot qualification firms in the United States.

We sell BIG ideas like ending corruption, giving voters the right to decide what’s best for them and electing leaders who actually listen to the voters.

We go where the people are, knocking on doors or gathering signatures on behalf of candidates and causes. Sometimes we’re persuading, sometimes we’re asking questions and listening to the answers.

THIS IS UNLIKE ANY JOB OUT THERE. We work hard and enjoy talking to people. Some of our staff stay for a season. Others have worked here for a decade or more.

ABOUT THIS ASSIGNMENT:

We’re currently search for staff who will work on a project in Pennsylvania. We’re also looking for staff who’d like to travel.

This project lasts through the end of the year, but we have projects popping up all over the country year round.

We talk to voters of all political persuasions. We treat all voter’s opinions with respect. You must be comfortable talking to and advocating for all types of candidates and issues.

PLEASE NOTE: Even Project Managers spend much of their day knocking on doors and conducting interviews and gathering signatures alongside the team.

ABOUT YOU:

OUTGOING: Comfortable talking to strangers at their door.

ARTICULATE AND PERSUASIVE. Must be able t deliver a script and speak with confidence. An interest in the news or current events is a must.

TEAM PLAYER: Must be able to handle constructive criticism and work with a team. You must be comfortable living and working with all kinds of people.

DETAIL ORIENTED: Petitions are a legal document. Must be able to follow detailed instructions.

Previous canvassing, campaign, sales experience is appreciated. Please highlight relevant experience in your application.

Pay rate:

$22.50 per hour for canvassers.

$25.00 Per Hour for Team Leaders

$30 per day car stipend for team leaders who use their own cars.

We are currently hiring Petitioners, Canvassers, Team Leaders and Project Managers for projects nationwide. Previous canvassing, sales or customer service experience is appreciated but not required.
