Advanced Practice Provider- Part Time/Full Time
AFC Urgent Care is seeking board-certified physician assistants or nurse practitioners to join our new North and South Austin clinics.
Qualified Candidates
Board certified mid-level providers with unrestricted Texas medical and DEA license
Comfortable seeing ages six months and up
Skilled in performing minor office procedures like suturing, I&Ds, etc. and confident in treating most acute illnesses and injuries in pediatric and adult patients
Ability to perform preliminary readings on x-rays and proficient in interpreting EKGs
Qualifications
Master’s Degree from an Accredited University
Licensed as Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) OR Physician Assistant (PA)
Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner OR Board-Certified Physician's Assistant
Current unrestricted Texas State and DEA License
1+ years’ experience in Urgent Care
1+ years’ experience working independently as Solo Provider
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified required and Advance Life Support (ACLS) certified preferred.
DOT Certification required
