    ADVANTAGE PARTS SOLUTIONS is seeking an experienced OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join our team. We have a great culture and believe in a good work/life balance.     For over 30 years, ADVANTAGE has been committed to helping Automotive Dealerships grow their wholesale parts business in the US, Canada and England. We are actively seeking an individual to join our diverse field sales team to work towards our collective goal of combining purpose with profit for our customers.

    This is a unique opportunity for the right person to build an existing territory while having the backing and support of an established company. In a nutshell, you will be responsible for building our automotive dealerships' customer base; visiting automotive repair shops to promote the dealerships and assess the shops’ auto parts needs; and consulting between the two to facilitate a profitable relationship.

    If you are average, you can earn $60,000 to $75,000 annually with us. If you are a true closer and relationship builder, you can earn well over $100K+.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Selling products and services to automotive dealerships in the defined territory
    • Prospect and enroll automotive dealerships to Advantage’s marketing program
    • Establish and develop business opportunities for current dealer clients by visiting a minimum of 10 to 15 automotive repair facilities daily
    • Develop an understanding of the automotive repair shop’s purchasing habits to assist dealer clients in developing strategies to gain their business
    • Engage in strategic planning and identifying market trends with regional manager to build strong relations with dealer clients and automotive repair shops
    • Daily contact with dealer clients by phone, email, digital reporting
    • Document all sales visits and market intelligence into company database
    • Continually explore the status of new and closed automotive repair shops in the market to update sales routes and keep our dealer clients informed of market changes
    • Other related responsibilities as assigned
    • Training is provided.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

    • Must live within 30 miles of the market
    • Minimum of 2 years of outside / field sales experience
    • Automotive experience is not required but is a definite asset
    • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
    • Willing to travel within the local territory
    • Ability to network and build meaningful relationships
    • Outgoing personality with an ability to be professional and self-reliant
    • Ability to capture attention of all levels of decision makers
    • Entrepreneurial mindset
    • Track record of growth within your previous positions
    • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
    • Excellent time management, highly organized, able to multi-task
    • Ability to work independently to run a territory
    • Demonstrated competence in using Excel, Word, Outlook, keyboarding

    • Must have clean driving record and reliable vehicle
    • Background check
