TITLE                                    : CAE ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR LOCATION                             : 100% REMOTE NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT   : FULL TIME, PERMANENT OR CONTRACT IS ALSO FINE (W2/1099/C2C)

PRIMARY SKILLSET: CAE admin with Linux and HP Cluster; Where as LS Dyna, HyperMesh are optional

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Conduct CAE analysis projects and inform engineering community of optimal solutions to meet product technical requirements.

Defining scope of project and agreeing with stakeholders

Detailing assumptions and limitations of analysis techniques

Providing results tailored to business needs

Provide engineering insight to analyses and results by providing reports, including recommend technical changes or further work

Develop understand of key parameters for improved component and system level performance and guide further design iterations based on analysis results

Support Design Reviews with CAE analysis activities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Works on difficult CAE problems to assist product development

Works on identifying product design and development problems where CAE analysis can accelerate development

Proactively validates/correlates results with real world data and makes model improvements as deemed necessary

Very good understanding of business unit processes and hardware; good knowledge of data analysis techniques to summarize CAE data

Generates high-level engineering test reports and presents CAE results/conclusions to the design/process engineering community

Understanding of CAE modelling process stages including meshing, boundary conditions, solution optimisation and results interpretation

Experience and understanding of different types of CAE analysis used to solve real-world design problems

Qualifications

CAE Admin, Linux, HP Cluster
