    DESCRIPTION:

    Executive Assistant to the CEO.

    WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: High-touch, thoughtful, strategic partner to our CEO. This is a demanding, 24/7 role in an incredibly fast-paced, high-growth environment.

    LOCATION: Newark, New Jersey. Ideal candidates will already be located in the New Jersey area. Previous knowledge of the area is preferred.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Partner with CEO and executive team to provide high-volume executive and personal support
    • Act as an adept gatekeeper; planning, coordinating and ensuring the CEO’s time is aligned with his priorities through demonstrated understanding of the business;
    • Navigate travel arrangements and bookings for the CEO and other members of the executive team, including booking flights and accommodations, and arranging travel logistics
    • Coordinate with event and conference organizers to provide background information about the CEO or other company participants and arrange day-of logistics
    • Manage administrative activities for the CEO and executive team including document management, expense reporting, and personnel requests
    • Manage calendar upkeep and scheduling of internal and external executive meetings and events
    • Partner with Chief of Staff on strategic office initiatives and process improvements
    • Handle all coordination for in-person meetings, including Board meetings, including room set-up, material preparation, and visitor communication
    • Organize and maintain contact information for key relationships for the CEO and other members of the executive team

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • BA/BS preferred.

    • 5+ years work experience in the capacity of an Executive Assistant for a CEO or Executive in a high growth company;

    • Experience working in a high growth company

    • Understanding of the ins and outs of booking travel arrangements and navigating external booking tools

    • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Teams

    • Approach challenges with a positive and solution-oriented attitude;

    • High integrity and proven track record in maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information;

    • Holds oneself to a high standard and expects that of others;

    • Self-directed and proactive, but has the ability to take direction;

    • Deliver under pressure and with changing deadlines flawlessly;

    • Shares a passion for Food, Agriculture, the Environment, Sustainability and doing the right thing.

    • Ability to learn quickly, respond rapidly and adapt constantly as the company continues its growth

    • Proactive in addressing issues, thinking outside the box, and independently figure out how things work

    • Self-starter and independent thinker with the ability to work with little direction and prioritize items appropriately
