    Afamia Partners is an operationally-focused private investment firm that sponsors buyouts of small and middle-market companies in the food & beverage, gaming & hospitality, manufacturing, business services and transportation & logistics industries. We specialize in highly complex situations and founder-owned/operated businesses, to which we provide creative structuring and customized capital solutions.

    Afamia Partners allies with management teams and owners to support and invest in healthy/growing companies, as well as those which may require financial/operational restructuring due to difficult industry trends. We create value by focusing on our preferred industries and working closely with our operating advisors to gain a deeper understanding of industry trends, areas of sales growth and margin enhancement, and strong management additions to help execute the strategic vision for the business.

    This position is a terrific opportunity for a self-motivated, organized individual to gain valuable experience required by employers in investment banking and private equity. Furthermore, this is a rare opportunity to handle a range of complex responsibilities and to work directly with a Managing Director or Partner level supervisor. Individuals who have strong work ethic, a can do attitude, a desire to learn and are seeking experience and knowledge in the middle-market, buy-side M&A world can be a fit for this position.

    Desired Skills and Expertise:

    • Understanding of financial and accounting principles, corporate and securities valuation familiarity and financial modeling familiarity;
    • Ability to do industry research, read 10ks and 10qs, and analyze business growth strategies;
    • Accurately data enter and manage a CRM system;
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BA/BS coursework with emphasis and familiarity in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
    • Prior investment banking, restructuring advisory, commercial lending, wealth management or private equity experience is a plus;
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook;
    • Strong record of academic, personal and professional development.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Salary: From $16.04 per hour
