As an After Care Counselor, you will play a vital role in fostering positive connections between youth and law enforcement, helping to bridge the gap between officers and the children we serve. Through mentorship, structured activities, and open communication, you will help create a supportive environment where young people feel safe, valued, and empowered.

Responsibilities:
Plan and facilitate games, sports, and other outdoor activities
Play sports and engage in recreational games to promote teamwork
Build strong, positive relationships with youth participants, acting as a mentor and role model
Ensure the safety, well-being, and engagement of youth throughout their time at the facility, from arrival to parent pick-up
Monitor campers and escort them to various activities
Provide fun learning opportunities
Set up, take down, and maintain cleanliness of camp equipment
Maintain strong relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and providing updates as needed
Administrative tasks, like attendance and reports
Qualifications:
Previous experience in child care
Experience in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Highly organized and responsible
Excellent communication skills
High School Diploma or Equivalent
College Degrees (Associate's and Bachelor's) preferred.
