Job Summary

We are seeking an After Hours Locksmith to join our team! As an After Hours Locksmiths, You will also assist clients with gaining entry into their homes, vehicles, businesses, and condos. You will also be asked to help maintaining and repair locksmith hardware and equipment, and keep excellent records of all client interactions, repairs, and inventory on the van. You will may be installing, replacing, and repairing locks, installing new safety devices such as deadbolts or electronic locks, and making duplicate keys for doors, vehicles, and other objects. The ideal candidate has previous locksmith experience, but not required, and has an excellent eye for detail, and has strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Accept calls and/or call customers back to schedule emergency services

Gain entry by lock picking into homes, vehicles, businesses, and condos

Repair or replace many types of locks in many settings

Use different tools to make copies of keys of all sizes

Install new locks, deadbolts, and other safety devices

Maintain and repair all equipment, as needed

Keep meticulous records of clients and jobs that come in

Go out to client calls as needed and assist with lock issues

Qualifications

Previous experience as a locksmith is desired

Strong attention to detail

Excellent customer service skills

Familiarity with basic computer programs and smart phones to be able to program smart locks
