Mondays 2:50-3:50pm and Wednesdays 2:00-3:00pm

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Basketball Trainer to lead engaging and educational basketball clinics for elementary school students. As a Basketball Trainer at Mindful Roots, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives by teaching basketball fundamentals, promoting sportsmanship, and encouraging a love for the game.

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver basketball training sessions that cater to varying skill levels and abilities.

Instruct students on basketball techniques, rules, and strategies.

Organize fun and interactive drills, games, and exercises to enhance students' basketball skills.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.

Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their basketball skills.

Collaborate with the Mindful Roots team to create a comprehensive and well-rounded sports curriculum.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a basketball coach or trainer, with a strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and coaching techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate young students.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a group of students effectively.

Background check required.
