We are looking for Fun, Energetic, After-School Teachers for our School!

Daily Responsibilities:

Must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment, assisting the staff in implementing a quality Preschool-age educational program and developing positive relationships with the children and their parents

The After-School Teacher observes and documents children's interests and progress, relays that information back to parents and staff, and implements developmentally appropriate activities under the direction of the Program Director

Develop and implement school-age program activities and curriculum and encourage participation by children.

Establish a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for all students.

Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials.

Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and daily reports.

Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling•Help ensure smooth, daily transitions for children.

Follow all program policies and state regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Communicate accidents, sicknesses, and incidents to the Program Director in a timely manner.

Other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

Minimum of 1-2 years of professional education experience and classroom teaching experience preferred.

High energy and the ability to work well with others.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

An understanding of child development.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
