Afternoon PreK Multi Sport and Martial Arts Coach
We are looking for Multi-Sport and Martial Arts coaches to join our growing team at Youth Athletes United. This is a PART-TIME position with the possibility of growth. We are in need of mobile coaches in Gilbert, Chandler and Southeast Phoenix to teach classes in multiple schools and/or daycares.
We are looking to fill UP TO 6 hours per week across the late afternoons. Specific days/times listed below.
Monday Afternoons: 3pm-4pm
Tuesday Afternoons: 2:30pm-3:30pm OR 3:15pm-4:15pm
Wednesday Afternoons: 2:30pm-4:30pm OR 3:30pm-4:30pm
Thursday Afternoons: 3pm-4pm OR 3:30pm-4:30pm
Friday Afternoons: 3pm-4pm OR 3:30pm-4:30pm
Pay based on experience.
We have been teaching mobile children's sport and fitness classes in the East Valley of Phoenix for over 16 years. We are proud to offer several different programs: JumpBunch, Amazing Athletes, Little Rookies, Super Soccer Stars, and Karate Zoo!
Job title: Coach Position Summary: The Coach conducts well-structured classes, always consistently acting with our values. When leading classes, relay all pertinent class-related information to the Staffing and Coach Department. All Coaches must have valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearence Card and a CPR and First Aid certification.
Coaching (leading dynamic classes with a theme and objective.)
Review: Inspire360 lesson plan content ahead of time, to understand class theme, objectives, and structure.
Lead: progressive, fun and age-appropriate classes following the curriculum and philosophy.
Ownership: provide a safe environment and facilitate the development of the children.
Prepare: have more activities planned than necessary and utilize your "toolbox".
Arrival: Arrive at your classes 15 min prior to the start of class
Development
Get involved: Attend and be actively involved in Coach Trainings and seasonal Kick-Off meetings.
Understand: Development Milestones & Development Cycle for each age group.
Development: set up one-on-one meetings with the Coaching Department to discuss ways to improve as a coach.
Equipment
Organized: Keep locations clean and tidy.
Communicate: Report any equipment problems to the equipment team.
Assist: pick-up and deliver equipment from/to locations when required.
Be ready: Have equipment ready to coach.
Distribute: Class materials (stamps/stickers and t-shirts).
Operations
Preparation: know every detail about each class you are attending by checking the Coach App twice daily
Attendance: honor your commitment to the classes in which you have been scheduled.
Punctuality: be at your scheduled class at least 15 minutes prior to start time.
Appearance: look and act professional and be in Karate Zoo attire when coaching at all times.
Professionalism: be efficient with written and verbal communication with our office. Communication is key for a successful relationship within our program.
Adhere: to company absence and availability policies.
