When accepting a position with Bellevue Montessori School, Activity Club Program, Assistant agrees to aid the teachers in working toward these goals, and to collaborate with the staff in providing a nurturing environment. The Assistant facilitates the comprehensive development of all students by interacting positively, confidently and respectfully with all children, families and staff members.
Role: Activity Club Assistant P/T
Campus: MAIN
Program: Early Childhood (ages 3 to 6)
Reports To: Jennifer Hamilton, Assistant Director
Daily Hours: Monday to Friday - 2PM to 6PM
Positions Open: 3x
Start Date: ASAP (Urgently Hiring)
Start Pay: $20.50 per hour ($200 Sign On Bonus after 90 days)
Job Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
High School graduate or equivalency or at least 18 years of age
Comparable work with children such as nannying, babysitting, etc.
Experience working with Google drive and other platforms
Requirements:
Able to lift up to 25lbs
Able to stand for long periods of time
Passionate working with children
Patient, calm, kind and understanding
Team player
Strong communication skills
Proactive and takes initiative
Strong attendance, punctuality, and flexibility
Able to work in the US
Complete the DCYF requirements (able to provide Portable Background Check, CPR/First Aid, proof of TB/Measles, Covid-19 vaccinations, Food Handler’s permit, Borne Blood Pathogens, and complete the initial 30 hour basic child course)
