Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our physical therapists in providing exceptional patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. Candidates for this position should be able to tolerate a physically active day, be able to multitask and have a strong desire to help others.

We are hiring for part- time with potential for full time. Variable schedule.

Duties:

• Assist physical therapists with patient care activities, including preparing treatment areas and equipment
• Escort patients to and from treatment area
• Aid patients in performing exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the physical therapist
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any concerns or changes to the physical therapist
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment
• Operate computer to organize and print exercise programs

Skills:

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Knowledge of anatomy, exercise science, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to provide exceptional patient care and service
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and physical therapists
• Attention to detail
